Acqua air technology

Plasto Ball® Kft.’s other successful technology is derived from a study of the relationship between water/fluids (AQUA) and air (AIR). Among other things, the size of a ball is defined by the thickness of the shell and the density of the material. However, there is a simpler and more cost-effective way.  In our strong and very flexible balls made of KOGELAN® material we replace air with a fluid, which creates a perfect and extremely durable medicine ball that does not tear or lose its filling. These very well-priced products are perfect alternatives to traditional balls used for strength training. We continued to study the air-fluid mixture. What if someone wants to work out in water? If they let go of the medicine ball, it will sink to the bottom and needs to be retrieved. Plasto Ball® Kft’sunique design offers a solution for this problem as there is water both inside and outside of the shell, so really only the shell has to be kept on the water’s surface. To this end we decreased the density of the fluid in the ball, extracted a little of it then mixed it with air. At the same time we used a harmless chemical to create tiny bubbles instead of big ones. This results in a ball that feels like a normal ball, can weigh as much as 5 kg, and floats on the surface!
